Super Glue

  • SUPER GLUE is a really, really, really strong clear liquid adhesive that bonds like lightning at room temperature.

APPLICATIONS

  • GLUEDEVIL SUPER GLUE is especially powerful on non-porous surfaces such as metal, ceramics, rubber, plastic, glass, china, to name a few. GlueDevil SUPER GLUE is also potent on porous materials such as leather, wood, fabrics, cardboard and paper.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

GLUEDEVIL SUPER GLUE is a really, really, really strong clear liquid adhesive that bonds like lightning at room temperature. It is especially powerful on non-porous surfaces such as metal, ceramics, rubber, plastic, glass, china etc. Also potent on porous materials such as leather, wood, fabrics, cardboard and paper.

CURING PERFORMANCE:

There are many factors that can influence the rate of cure. These include: the types of substrates used, the condition of the surface to be bonded, the smoothness of the surface, the closeness of the surfaces, the atmospheric conditions etc.

Substrate/ Cure Speed
Steel to Steel 10 – 30 seconds
Stainless Steel 30 – 60 seconds
Aluminium 5 – 15 seconds
Zinc plated 30 – 90 seconds
ABS to ABS 5 – 20 seconds
ABS to NBR 3 – 5 seconds
ABS to Wood 5 – 10 seconds
NBR to NBR 5 – 10 seconds
Wood 60 – 75 seconds
Polycarbonate 20 – 60 seconds
Leather 30 – 60 seconds
Cure Speed / Humidity

The following graph shows the tensile strength developed at different levels of humidity.

Cure Speed / Bond Gap

The rate of cure depends on the bond-gap. A smaller bond-gap results in faster cure speeds.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Bond speed is very fast so ensure that parts are properly aligned before bonding. Activators may be required if there are gaps or porous surfaces. Some plastics may require application of a Primer.

  • Ensure surfaces to be joined are clean, dry and grease-free.
  • Unscrew nozzle from the tube and remove loosed plastic ring. Screw nozzle back onto the tube until the built-in piercer breaks through the membrane, while taking care not to squeeze the tube.
  • Apply GlueDevil Super Glue to one surface only.
  • Join surfaces immediately and apply pressure for 30 seconds.
  • Clear nozzle, replace cap and store in a refrigerator or deep-freeze for maximum product life.
HANDLING AND STORAGE:

Storage:

Keep products in the unopened container in a cool and dry place. Best when stored at 2°C to 8°C. Temperatures less than 2°C can adversely affect product properties. Do not freeze. Keep container tightly closed until ready for use.

Handling:

Material removed from containers may be contaminated during use. Do not pour any of the product back into the original container. Misuse of the product will void all warrantees.

PACKAGING:

3g single card, 3g value pack, 3g display card of 12

PRECAUTIONS:
  • Use in well-ventilated areas.
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact with skin occurs, rinse with warm water or dissolve gradually with solvent such as acetone, or nitromethane. Do not try to remove forcibly.  If adhesive gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly and seek medical attention immediately.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Keep adhesive in a cool, dry place at 20°C -25°C (68°F -77°F). For long-term storage, refrigeration (2oC or 35oF) is recommended.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:

For more information and advice on the safe handling, storage and disposal of chemical products, users shall refer to the most recent Material Safety Data Sheet containing, physical, ecological, and toxicological and other safety related data
